Picture of the week - 21

I've almost completed my new shelves, but before putting them up I thought they could have been a very cool background for some pics... and here you are!

Malice In Wonderland - Tower Exclusive

I took more, you can see them in my forum picture gallery.

I think that the shades of this shelf perfectly match the metallic purple in Malice's outfit... I think she's awesome, very sexy but ironic too
I hope you like the picture of this week!!

Great news: two Bleeding Edge entrants for the Toy Fair 2006 Top Ten!

The Toy Fair has come for this year and so... we have another tough competition to win!

As usual, Collectible Bits Box is chosing the entrants for the Top Ten competition, among the best toys they saw at the Toy Fair.
Last year our beloved Malice was a nominee and she won! These guys seem to like Bleeding Edge very much, and I'm happy about it cos their reviews and pictures really rock!

But wait... and the news I announced in the title? Well....

This year Bleeding Edge has two entrants in the Toy Fair 2006 Top Ten competition!!! Guess who? DELILAH and JAQUELINE! It's just too cool! Yay!
Go Collectible Bits Box and go Bleeding Edge!

Voting will start soon I think, we have to unite us and let one of them win... fairly, of course

The smell of success is so pleasant... hehehehehhehehe!!!!

We are on Lee's Toy Review!!! :)

Sorry for my delay in posting the picture, but this is a very busy and intense period to me... so many things happening together!

Some time ago, Toni sent me a scan of the article about us, which appears in Lee's Toy Review. It's the February issue I think, so you can still buy it!
You can see me and the other blog contest winners: Sara, Sericea, Becky, Andrea and Jake! Yay for us!

Our pics on Lee's Toy Review!!!

I was and still am so happy about this great thing, me in a US magazine! I think that I'm more known in the US than in Italy hehe!
Looking at my picture, reading about me in the article, is something which makes me feel so good and satisfied, it's very exciting! Lee's is a great magazine, I totally suggest it to all of you! And James is a special person

I'm very thankful to the Bleeding Edge guys and James cos they gave us the opportunity to spread the word about our blogs and I am aware that many of my new visitors come from that source

Golden Toy Awards 2005: Bleeding Edge won!!!!!!!!

This is a very happy and lucky period for Bleeding Edge... after the very positive impact of series 5 and all the other cool goodies...
The guys have won the Golden Toy Award in Best Original Concept Line category! YAY!!!!!!!

It wasn't such an easy competition since I know that LDDs had been nominated in the same category, and I don't know about the other companies! So I'm even prouder

I knew we could have made it! A big thanx to all the people who voted and made this possible, another special thanx to all the people who decided to vote after reading my blog.

Thanx very much to Lee's Toy Review for being so cool, I love you guys!

New Bleeding Edge products, projects and super cool stuff!

Bleeding Edge is not presenting series 5 only, at the Toy Fair... There are a lot of new products, so many cool things that are going to steal your little black gothic hearts!

First of all I want to say that I'm so thankful for the return of the plushes! I think that Bleeding Edge has a special touch in making plushes too, they are all amazing and they show the guy's irony and attitude very well. It's so great to see them again!!!!!

Then, you can see Rebecca's Realm frames:

And the Minor Misfits frames:

Aren't they awesome? I love them too much!
The frame with Rebecca and her cats is perfect for the pics of your pets... the one where Rebecca, Max and Edgar are together is perfect for the picture of you and your friends... the nightmare one is perfect for every picture cos it's simply awesome, it's my favorite of the three.

The one with Nightshade and the brand new tooth fairy Desiree, along with the one with Zero and her sister, are both perfect for the pics of your children, or babies in general... I already see the pictures of my niece inside of them!

The one with Fester is simply great... I love it! Another one that can fit every occasion, every picture

Another cool thing is the Rebecca's Realm Toon Book, where you can find all the coolest Goth Toons. I always wanted to print the toons and put them on my wall... now I'll be able to have something better, a REAL book!!!

I don't know about it, but in Figures.com Bleeding Edge coverage I've seen the picture of another book ... I'm really curious to know about it, I can't wait to know more!

And last but not least... the guys are planning to make a clohting line!!! Have you read carefully???? CLOTHES!!!!
I'm very excited about that!
Bleeding Edge clothing is going to be licensed by WISH; the guys have just received only one actual sample from WISH and it is..... a Fiona T-Shirt!!! YAY!! It is black with cap sleeves and the skull swirl!!!!!!
I can't wait to see it!

But that's not all... if you read Figures.com introduction, you have read this:
"In other BeGoths news, Bleeding Edge is working on a deal with an unnamed clothing manufacturer to produce dresses and clothing styles seen on their BeGoths dolls and figures. The first dress – based on the BeGoths 7” Figure Series 4 Angelica Noir’s skirt – will be one of the first released if made."

That's so amazing!!!! I'm too excited, really... I need to lose some more weight to fit Angelica's dress hehehe!

Bleeding Edge is so amazing! Thanx for bringing us so many cool new products!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

I'm not the kind of person who celebrates all these conventional events and dates, but everything can look so different when you are happy... you can even give up the mask and stop playing the anti-conventional role for a moment... when you are happy cos there's someone who makes a difference.
All this to say that this is the first year in my life that I have sorta celebrated it... I think that even inside of a conventional and "commercial" frame, you can still find a way to be yourself and express your creativity adding something unique to "that" frame...
So, best wishes to everyone, and let's celebrate every form of love!

Okay, after these useless silly things, enjoy some Valentine's related pictures!

Valentino has a lot of success... obviously!

A jealousy scene:

... And I hope some of you used my e-cards service to send a lovely card to your special someone, hehe!

Toy Fair 2006 UPDATE: Bleeding Edge coverage by ASM!

Enjoy the pictures!

Toy Fair 2006 UPDATE: Bleeding Edge coverage by Figures.com!

Figures.com has put the Bleeding Edge photos from the Toy Fair up! Yay! I couldn't wait to see some pics from the convention, to see more details of the dolls...
Here you are, read the introduction that they wrote and look at these awesome pics with your own eyes!

Ladies and gentlemen... I'm proud to present you SERIES 5!!!!

Hello guys!
I just woke up, I had an intense night yesterday, to party with a friend who just got graduated... I had fun but the result is that now I'm late and my blogger mates have already posted all the pics! Well, what it really matters is that...
SERIES 5 IS MORE AWESOME THAN ANYONE COULD HAVE EXPECTED!

I'm not going to comment the dolls now cos I want to write a full review with some artistic touches, later... I want to take time to do that, now it's better to let you admire these gorgeous dolls and take a coffee to wake me up completely, hehe

I only want to say that I love every doll, the 12" are perfect, there's a big presence of romantic dolls, right according to my tastes, and they all rock so hard!

The 7" are always better than the previous series, they are simply wonderful and keep on improving, in quality and originality.

I'm too happy to see the plushes again! They are called Minor Misfits from now on, I like that name
They are all awesome, my favorite is Desiree, she's too funny and cute, but they all are!

I must start saving from this precise moment!!!

GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!! THANK YOU FOR BRINGING US THESE AMAZING DOLLS, YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!

Ok, now the pics... let's start from the 12":

And then the 7":

And last but not least, the Minor Misfits:

... and Rebecca's Realm plushes:

I hope you like them all!
I'm going to post the other cool products that Bleeding Edge has presented, later in the day.
Enjoy series 5 now!

The guys are safe in NY!

The Bleeding Edge guys are in New York, ready to conquer the Toy Fair audience tomorrow!

I can't tell more, at the moment... but there's one thing I can write: it's so cold in NY!
I have a visual proof of that: here's Steve Varner in his parka... brrrrr!!!!

I can only imagine the excitement and the thrill they are feeling now... showing something you have created with so much passion, love, attention and dedication is always a very deep and emotioning experience!

I hope that Bleeding Edge is going to have the success it deserves! And believe me, it's well deserved! Wait until you see series 5 and you'll be able to judge yourselves!
