San Diego Comic Con 2007! Don't miss our girls pictures!

Oh my, Comic Con was there and I hadn't time to follow the event as the past years... To know more about this great event, you can read my old post about the show.

I guess it was awesome this year too and I'm sure BEgoths had a great success... the new series is amazing! The creativity of Steve Varner and his team is never ending! Great job guys: quality, creativity and attention to details are your second name!

I'll try and post all the links with SDCC pictures I find... now you can just have a look at Figures.com pictures, they are very good!

Purple Pandora is just amazing... I love her eyes, her look is so sweet.
You can see Pandora Exclusive and Alindria too... aren't they awesome?!? The blue Pandora is a little weird then...her eyes looks a little squint... But maybe cos it's just the strong flash light in the pictures.

Storm is so strange and different from the others... she is very fascinating, she is almost mystical, I love her.

The quality of these dolls increases series by series!!!

Since last time I wrote and updated my blog! It's such a shame, but my job seems to get all my energies and I obviously don't want to spend all my spare time in front of a computer... again!

I feel so bad I haven't taken care of my blog properly... and my collection has come to a temporary stop too!

Mainly, this is because I don't have much room left. My cabinets are so full, I don't know where to display more dolls right now, but since I'm going to change flat next year, I think I'll find a solution.
I want to buy some series 5 dolls soon cos I am so far behind with those... and series 6 is already out, cos Comic Con is just over and so now the dolls are going to be available!

I wish I could take back all my past hobbies and habits... it's hard but I will try.

I'm very proud to present...

SERIES 6 BEGOTHS!!!

These dolls are simply amazing... everytime I say that it's impossible for the guys to outdo themselves and everytime they prove me wrong! I love the ideas, themes and colors expressed in this series. And remeber this is just the beginning, cos we still have to see the summer releases and the remaining 7"!!! I think we'll stay hypnotized and captured by the beauty of series 6 dolls.

Here you are:

Pandora

She is simply fabolous. I love purple and so she's perfect to me. I love the dress, it's detailed and old fashioned, she could be a medieval princess or witch. The make up is awesome too, I love the feathers you can see around her eyes, and her eye color is great. Thank you Bleeding Edge guys!

Penelope Fabrique

Penelope is a very interesting doll. I love the fact she is linked with mythology, as Leda Swanson is. Penelope is Ulysse's wife and the sewing theme is present here in a very subtle way: the surname, the eye design... I like this idea very much, it's not just about finding a cool name, this doll has a meaning.

Slayer Storm

I particularly like this version of Storm cos she is very different from all the others. For the first time we can see brown on a Fashion Doll and she is very fascinating. Storm has definitely grown up and now she looks like a mix between a medieval heroin and a Fantasy character to me, I love her!

Katerina Moreau

She's called like my sister, heehee... I love this figure, cos I adore black cats and she is very cute and sexy, but funny and ironic too, the Bleeding Edge mood about 7" figures is faithful to its roots and I'm very happy about it!

The latest news say that we'll be able to see the rest of 7" figures too, what an excitement!

I must say I'm very happy and satisfied with these dolls, they are wonderful! I'm sooo relieved I have a job at the moment!

Guys, you are GREAT!!!! You never cease to amaze me, this is an awesome job!
Steve, you are "the master"... heehee!!! :)

The New York Toy Fair is getting nearer!

I am too excited: there are only 2 days left to the NY Toy Fair! That's awesome!

For those of you who don't know what the NY Toy Fair is...

The American International Toy Fair takes place every year in New York, in winter. This year it will be on February 11-14. It's a very big convention where manufacturers, distributors, importers and sales agents from 30 countries showcase their toy and entertainment products. You can find a little bit of everything, BEgoths included! The NY Toy Fair is not open to everyone, unfortunately, just those who work in the toy industry can have access. Toy manufacturers often use this chance to present and promote their brand new toy lines.
Bleeding Edge is among those companies too: we're going to see the first branch of series 6 12" dolls and maybe some 7" too!
The guys are leaving right now as I'm writing this post! They will be at Javits Center, Urban Bazaar Section, Booth 5732.

Changes for me...

It's time for changes in my life... I have found a job and after 8 days of traning, I'm ready to get started on Monday. I'm anxious and excited at the same time!
It's the first serious job I have and everything is new to my eyes.

This is a great changement cos it means my life is going to be organized in a totally different way from now on... and... it also means I'll have more money for me, to buy the stuff I want (this obviously means I'm going to buy some BEgoths soon, heehee!)

Despite all this, I'll keep on updating and taking care of my blog, even if I probably won't do that daily. But this is something I have already put in my schedule.

More money, more BEgoths... YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Series 6 is getting near!!!!!

I have great news for all the people who are waiting impatiently for series 6....

This series will have a different release time than the other ones. It will be split in two waves, each consisting of three dolls. We'll be able to see the first wave at the NY Toy Fair in February and it will be released in Spring. The other dolls will be shown at San Diego Comic Con and will be released right after the event, as usual.

This should be an almost correct schedule:

Spring: release of series 6A 12", previously shown at Toy Fair in February, possible release of the #2 comic.

Summer: release of series 6B 12" and of series 6 7".

And something everyone wanted to know about... Storm will be in series 6 too! YAY! I can't imagine a series without Storm, really... I'm very happy she's still there!

Hello everyone!

I hope you spent great holidays, I had a good time and cool gifts, but no BEgoths this year. Well, this means I'll have to buy them myself, heehee!

I should hurry up cos series 5 is selling so well and the exclusive are really low at quantity. Aww poor me!

My niece got her first BEgoth this year, it was Dru Id, she always loved mine. But this year she also liked the 12" very much and with my suprise her favorite is Siphon. I was suprised cos it's very unconventional for a 4yr old child, you know

Great news for all the BEgoths fans out there!

You read well: in the United States The Year Without Santa is going to air on December 11th 9pm on NBC. This is actually a remake of an old movie, you can read more info about the The Year Without Santa on IMDb and on NBC site.

Bleeding Edge has been conctacted some months ago cos the production wanted to use BEgoths dolls as part of the movie set. Isn't it awesome?!?
Our beloved dolls are going to be in a movie!

Moving time...

Some time ago I showed the pics of my new display for the 7" figures. These days I'm pretty busy with setting my new BEgoths display up and I decided that my 7" (or the majority of them, at least) must be displayed in the glass cabinet too...
When my series 5 12" dolls increase, I'll have to find another place for them, but they can stay there at the moment.

I'm going to post pics soon, as soon as everything is set up and ready to be looked at

I want to thank everyone who reads my blog and want to say that I'm going to check all the links to my stuff, to see if they still work. I'm going to add more artworks too, I was in despair when I thought I had lost everything I made! Stay tuned and keep checking for updated! Hugs to all!

New dolls for me!

I bought some dolls these months I was away, and I'm waiting for some series 5 ones too... the package should be here these days and I'm so excited!

I also won the Halloween Countdown contest on Doll Reader. I feel so lucky, YAY!
The prize was a Rebecca plush, I love her, she's adorable and so cute!

I also bought two glass cabinets to keep my dolls in the best way possible, away from the dust. I still have to set them up, and then I'll post pictures.

I'd like to buy more dolls for Christmas, but I'm too broke at the moment. I need to find a job and I'm going to try and sell some ooak stuff made by me on ebay...

I want to say hello to all the people who read my blog, and to all the BEgoths fans in general!

I am finally back to writing my blog... I'm so sorry it took so long, I started to update it again, but then my computer broke... AGAIN! I am really unlucky with computers... grrr!
This time the motherboard and MY hard disk broke, fortunately my lovely boyfriend is a computer expert and he fixed everything.

Then I went on vacation... and then I had to start my routine again... and here I am!

I'm going to update my blog often, now, I really want to!

I've finally ordered the doll stands I need to display my series 4 Fashion Dolls... yes, it's unbelievable but they're still in their boxes! It took me a lot of time, but I'm finally ready to enjoy them! This can be a good way to wait until series 5 will be out

I have to think about a new display for them though, cos my cabinet is already full!
And I want to take some new pics too...

Maybe some of you were wondering where I was gone... I was going to graduate in university and I had a LOT of things to do! My final project needed all my time to be completed, respecting the deadlines... so I had to stay away from all my activities!

The Toy Fair has come for this year and so... we have another tough competition to win!

As usual, Collectible Bits Box is chosing the entrants for the Top Ten competition, among the best toys they saw at the Toy Fair.
Last year our beloved Malice was a nominee and she won! These guys seem to like Bleeding Edge very much, and I'm happy about it cos their reviews and pictures really rock!

But wait... and the news I announced in the title? Well....

This year Bleeding Edge has two entrants in the Toy Fair 2006 Top Ten competition!!! Guess who? DELILAH and JAQUELINE! It's just too cool! Yay!

I was and still am so happy about this great thing, me in a US magazine! I think that I'm more known in the US than in Italy hehe!

I'm very thankful to the Bleeding Edge guys and James cos they gave us the opportunity to spread the word about our blogs and I am aware that many of my new visitors come from that source

This is a very happy and lucky period for Bleeding Edge... after the very positive impact of series 5 and all the other cool goodies...
The guys have won the Golden Toy Award in Best Original Concept Line category! YAY!!!!!!!

It wasn't such an easy competition since I know that LDDs had been nominated in the same category, and I don't know about the other companies! So I'm even prouder

I knew we could have made it! A big thanx to all the people who voted and made this possible, another special thanx to all the people who decided to vote after reading my blog.

New Bleeding Edge products, projects and super cool stuff!

Bleeding Edge is not presenting series 5 only, at the Toy Fair... There are a lot of new products, so many cool things that are going to steal your little black gothic hearts!

First of all I want to say that I'm so thankful for the return of the plushes! I think that Bleeding Edge has a special touch in making plushes too, they are all amazing and they show the guy's irony and attitude very well. It's so great to see them again!!!!!

Then, you can see Rebecca's Realm frames:

Aren't they awesome? I love them too much!
The frame with Rebecca and her cats is perfect for the pics of your pets... the one where Rebecca, Max and Edgar are together is perfect for the picture of you and your friends... the nightmare one is perfect for every picture cos it's simply awesome, it's my favorite of the three.

The one with Nightshade and the brand new tooth fairy Desiree, along with the one with Zero and her sister, are both perfect for the pics of your children, or babies in general... I already see the pictures of my niece inside of them!

The one with Fester is simply great... I love it! Another one that can fit every occasion, every picture

Another cool thing is the Rebecca's Realm Toon Book, where you can find all the coolest Goth Toons. I always wanted to print the toons and put them on my wall... now I'll be able to have something better, a REAL book!!!

I don't know about it, but in Figures.com Bleeding Edge coverage I've seen the picture of another book ... I'm really curious to know about it, I can't wait to know more!

And last but not least... the guys are planning to make a clohting line!!! Have you read carefully???? CLOTHES!!!!
I'm very excited about that!
Bleeding Edge clothing is going to be licensed by WISH; the guys have just received only one actual sample from WISH and it is..... a Fiona T-Shirt!!! YAY!! It is black with cap sleeves and the skull swirl!!!!!!
I can't wait to see it!

But that's not all... if you read Figures.com introduction, you have read this:
"In other BeGoths news, Bleeding Edge is working on a deal with an unnamed clothing manufacturer to produce dresses and clothing styles seen on their BeGoths dolls and figures. The first dress – based on the BeGoths 7” Figure Series 4 Angelica Noir’s skirt – will be one of the first released if made."

That's so amazing!!!! I'm too excited, really... I need to lose some more weight to fit Angelica's dress hehehe!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

I'm not the kind of person who celebrates all these conventional events and dates, but everything can look so different when you are happy... you can even give up the mask and stop playing the anti-conventional role for a moment... when you are happy cos there's someone who makes a difference.
All this to say that this is the first year in my life that I have sorta celebrated it... I think that even inside of a conventional and "commercial" frame, you can still find a way to be yourself and express your creativity adding something unique to "that" frame...
So, best wishes to everyone, and let's celebrate every form of love!

Hello guys!
I just woke up, I had an intense night yesterday, to party with a friend who just got graduated... I had fun but the result is that now I'm late and my blogger mates have already posted all the pics! Well, what it really matters is that...
SERIES 5 IS MORE AWESOME THAN ANYONE COULD HAVE EXPECTED!

I'm not going to comment the dolls now cos I want to write a full review with some artistic touches, later... I want to take time to do that, now it's better to let you admire these gorgeous dolls and take a coffee to wake me up completely, hehe

I only want to say that I love every doll, the 12" are perfect, there's a big presence of romantic dolls, right according to my tastes, and they all rock so hard!

The 7" are always better than the previous series, they are simply wonderful and keep on improving, in quality and originality.

I'm too happy to see the plushes again! They are called Minor Misfits from now on, I like that name
They are all awesome, my favorite is Desiree, she's too funny and cute, but they all are!

I must start saving from this precise moment!!!

I can't tell more, at the moment... but there's one thing I can write: it's so cold in NY!

It's time for a new Minor Misfits Toon again... I love it too much! Zero and her sister are too funny and cute!
It reminds me of something that happened to my old cat Minou, she disappeared and the third day of her missing my mom found out that she was climbed on a very high tree! We had to call the firemen to let her go down!

I usually hate conventional holidays and occasions, but you know... every occasion/event is good to give or receive a BEgoth doll, so I'm going to give some advices about the dolls that fit Valentine's day best, in my opinion.

I'd obviously say the Kindergoth Valentino first. He was a Spencer's Exclusive but you can still find him on ebay, like here, here or here; you can find him in some online shops too: The UrbanStash.com, Wacky Stacker, or Pictish Toys (UK).

I have him, I won it thanx to my 3rd place in the Drawing Blood Contest Part 1, and I love him. He's so soft, cute and sweet... I love the material of his skin, it's a sort of velvety fabric, very cool! I learnt that it's called velour in the US
How can you resist to his arch and arrows, and to his vinyl slippers? He's adorable! He's just the perfect gift for your loved one!

Then I'd suggest all the most romantic 12" Fashion Dolls, like Divinity and Abcynthia. If you want to keep the red theme on, you can choose Divinity Exclusive. Abcynthia and Divinity Excl. are both sold out, but you can still find them around. Abycnthia is definitely easier to find and the Crypt Club Exclusive with her amazing gray dress is still available on begoths.com store; Divinity Exclusive is getting harder to find instead, but CornerStoreComics, Wacky Stacker, and Wacko's (UK) still have her.
Scorpio is a very cool and popular doll, her black and red dress fits Valentine's day too much!
Raven, Storm and Evening Storm are other great choices too, along with Devastatia. She looks great in polka dots but she's stunning in all black too!

Morbida SDCC Exclusive is another great idea, her metallic red dress is too cool! Zaldiva, Coast to Coast Collectibles, Wacky Stacker and Collector's Edge (CA) still have her, and there's one on ebay too right now.
Angelica is the romantic doll par excellence, you can't be wrong with her! Her best version is the purple variant, I think. She is just amazing with those metallic purple shades! And her make up is the best, definitely.
Autumn Von Sanguine is a very charming doll too. She's classy and mysterious, in her dark garnet sexy dress.
Lunabella Exclusive is another great choice. She's a girl with attitude, so she would be a very smart gift! The same goes for Malice in Wonderland! You can buy the girls with one of the BEgoths boys, Dagger, Wormwood and Dru Id, so you can make couples ;)

My prize for the blog contest has come, I'm so happy!

I have so many dolls now, my 7" collection has increased a lot! I have many pictures to take, hoping to catch the beauty of the dolls and let you see it. Some dolls don't sell very well cos people have never seen great pics of them, or they have never seen them in person. And this makes the difference!

I was very surprised to see how awesome the clear shots are... they are truly beautiful, they seem ice sculptures and now I want an Edward Scissorhands figure to make a nice scene with them

The silver Cyberella is great too, she's stunning and different... she looks like a piece of design, to me!

It's snowing again...

They made 3 paint versions and posted them on the forum to let us express our opinions about them and tell which ones we like most.

It would be so great if Bleeding Edge could be more present and popular here in Italy too. I don't own the elitist instinct that many people have, I don't care about it. Even if this is a very busy period for the guys, with the Toy Fair quickly approaching and the last touches to series 5, the Bleeding Edge guys have found the time to please us by updating the site with more cool stuff and news.

I'm very proud to present my BEgoths e-cards service.
It's active from late December, but I didn't have the chance to talk about it sooner.

I always wanted to do that, but I didn't have the ability and the right occasion to do that. I never owned a site, so you see it would have been useless.

I created some e-cards which can apply to different situations, and there are more to come!
I want to cover all the main situations, and if you have suggestions about the e-card topics, leave a comment here!
They are quite simple but funny, I really love some of those pics.

I added some music too... I hate when you click on a link and a loud music starts playing, but concerning the e-cards it's absolutely different... you expect there could be music and it's much more wanted and appropriated.
I hope you like the songs or sounds I've chosen.
If you can't hear them and you are asked to agree to the Crescendo License, don't worry! It's nothing wrong or risky, it's just a plug-in which allows you to listen to the midi or wav files in the web pages. I had to agree myself cos I wasn't able to hear a sound...

Just remember that I don't have a website and so I had to upload them on a file hosting site. This means that if I exceed the bandwidth, the sound clips could be temporary unavailable.

Curiosities - 3

- There are always some changes between the prototype doll and the final version, but these are the most noticeable -

Bonez is the Kindergoth with more prototypes, you can count three of them. The first one was cream white, the second one was dark purple but for the final version the guys chose black for him.

Lillian is the doll who has been made in the biggest number of versions: two prototypes and the final version, which is slightly different from the 2nd prototype. The guys originally made Lillian with her black cape lined in red and a red belt. Then when they were making the second batch of their order, Steve Varner decided he liked her best in all black. The factory made some in all black and apparently still had some red fabric left over so they decided to make an all black one with a red belt. Recently, a 4th version of Lillian has been found. She has a black cape with red collar and red belt! The quantity of each of the three variants must be less that 1,000 of each... it is so very hard to find all 4 versions!

Sinstress prototype had curly hair, she would have been the one and only BEgoth with curly hair. But the guys decided to create a different hairstyle for her, similar to Raven's one.

The first version of Julia was supposed to have buns, but there were some troubles in production and the guys chose a soft ponytail for her. She looks great in both ways!

This week I decided to post a picture of me. I think it's the first time I show myself here, I'm pretty shy and I don't think I'm such a beauty who has to be shown hehehe.

Along with the AWESOME prize of the Blog Contest, the guys are going to advertise our blogs in these cool magazines: Lee's Toy Review, Gothic Beauty and Rue Morgue... and it's not all!

James Tomlinson, the editor of Lee's Toy Review, is going to do a special write up about the 1st and 2nd place winners in their magazine which hits the newsstands on February 1st, 2006! And he needs some pics of us to add to the article.

Here's the picture that will probably end up in the magazine. I thought that taking a pics near my "Relics" would have been a cool idea!

James is a wonderful and very friendly person, I had the chance to talk to him some times and he was very warm. You can guess how much that means to me, an italian girl who's receiving so many good vibes from the US!

All this is simply great cos many toys companies don't allow non-US people to enter contests, take advantage of promotions or join so cool initiatives. This is a lesson that Bleeding Edge and its friends are giving to you guys out there!!! Chapeau!!!

Among the new features of my blog you can find two polls about BEgoths.

One is the Mini-Poll you can find under the games, in its cute light purple box. It's the first question I had in mind, thinking about BEgoths. It's always nice to hear where we all started.

Today it's my birthday, I'm 25!

I had a wonderful night yesterday and today I've been a bit lazy cos I'm still very asleep.

I got some great presents, but I want to buy me some BEgoths too...

I created a calendar where you can find the most important events regarding Bleeding Edge and my activity. Well, I know that my activity isn't as interesting, but I felt I had to write more info to make the calendar more complete

Everytime I find some interesting info, I'm going to write them down in my calendar. The near NY Toy Fair is there too; and you can also find some important info about the starting and ending of Cyrpt Club coupons and offers, contests etc...

I've recently added some new services and various fun stuff to my blog...
I think that the most important quality of a website/blog is the interactivity. I believe you have to give an additional value to the readers, and give them something more than plain info. That's why I wanted the "fun" section so much!

I also wanted to offer the services that a good website usually offers.

I'm going to explain a bit about all of them in several posts, starting from today or tomorrow... come back if you want to read more!

I worked on it for so much time... and it's finally ready to be posted!

You can consider it as my virtual Christmas gift, I hope you like it and find it useful!

I must say it's the thing that took most of the time in this couple of months. I've never used Photoshop before and now I know much more things than I did before starting the checklist.

Now you can save it, mark the dolls you have, add it to your website or blog, or print it and put it on a wall, if you like...

I have another game to entertain you during these holidays!

I could have posted it tomorrow but it's Christmas and I bet I'll have many things to do... I don't want to forget!

So, here's the BEgoths "In Memory" game created by the great Electric Funeral again!

I always loved the game itself very much, I like playing it on my cellphone too... but this one is definitely better, cos we can play with BEgoths dolls and Electric Funeral's characters are so nice and funny!
When I first saw it I was too excited!

San Diego Comic Con

Comic-Con International, also known as San Diego Comic Con, is probably the biggest and most important convention of the comics industry.
SDCC is a great show which takes place in San Diego; it lasts four days (from Thursday to Sunday, with a Wednesday preview night) and it's open to professionals and fans too.
The Comic Con 2006 is scheduled for July 20-23, with the preview night falling on the 19th.

This big event offers a main floor marketplace featuring exhibitors like publishers, comic book back issues dealers, movie studios, toy companies (like Bleeding Edge!!!) and individual artists. In other rooms you can attend some previews, spotlights, themed issue discussions, film presentations, forthcoming movies etc etc...

The San Diego Comic Con is the paradise for every collector, a cult event which can't be missed at least once in life

Bleeding Edge has been at the SDCC since 2003, with an awesome stand and the marvellous BEgoths crew: Steve Varner and his wife, Toni, Veronica and many other great and friendly people... Psycho Clown included!
The guys had brought us a special Comic Con Exclusive every year they attended to the show.

I really hope I can go next year, it would be the biggest trip of my life since now, and I'm very excited to meet the guys and WickedGirl. I only hope that my dream can come true!

Christmas is there and I really wish someone bought some BEgoths for me. Last year my best friend Elena made me a very special gift, she wrapped a ton of 7" like candies and then put them in this big Santa sack:
I loved it too much!!! She's a very creative girl

After Christmas and my birthday I'm going to make a Crypt Club purchase... too much time has passed since the last one and I need more dolls! Then, talking to Veronica is so pleasant that I really want to make another order.

I want the new poster too!!! This banner is maybe the coolest one!

7" Quiz added!!!

I've finally completed my 7" quiz too... It wasn't easy cos I tried to find different and original questions, which weren't too similar to the ones i made for the 12". And the same for profiles...
I think that the final risult is nice, I hope you agree with me!

Bleeding Edge in everyday life...

The other day I went to the dentist to have a dental cleaning, and while I was sitting on the chair with that irritating noise in my ears, I was thinking about an old Goth Toon and I was smiling inside

That episode made me think about the impact of the dolls in my everyday life. I don't know about the other collectors, but I think about BEgoths and everything related many times a day. Maybe I'm obsessed, but I wouldn't call it obsession... this is a mature passion, very positive cos it gives me so many creative inspirations... I haven't painted, drawn and written like I do now for ages!

New York Toy Fair

The American International Toy Fair takes place every year in New York, in winter. This year it will be on February 12-15.
It's a very big convention where manufacturers, distributors, importers and sales agents from 30 countries showcase their toy and entertainment products. You can find a little bit of everything, BEgoths included!
The NY Toy Fair is not open to everyone, unfortunately, just those who work in the toy industry can have access. Toy manufacturers often use this chance to present and promote their brand new toy lines.
This is Bleeding Edge case too: the guys presented series 4 last year and this year we'll see series 5 dolls! I'm so excited and I can't wait to see them!

My friend Electric Funeral, who's a great artist, made this wonderful drag'n'drop for my blog. She also made that picture of me as a Kindergoth that you can see in my profile. She's very talented and I must say I'm honoured she wanted to create something so awesome for my blog! Thank you soooo much!!!!

I love drag'n'drops cos they're very funny and they offer you many possibilities, you can create many characters, always differently.
You can try with Storm too, dress her as you prefer, according to the actual versions of her or creating new ones!

I'm happy I can finally show my first pixel Kindergoths!
They took me a lot of time cos I'm so busy this period and I was making some 7" at the same time ... I don't know why but I feel I have to make millions of things together, to follow the creative instict... but it's always a mess hehe

The base is mine cos a base that fitted Kindergoths didn't exist... so I'm even more proud of them.

I want to spend some words on the big events where Bleeding Edge shows its beautiful work. The New York Toy Fair, the San Diego Comic Con and the Wizard World (Los Angeles, in this particular case).
I'm going to create a post for each event and explain a little about how it works etc...
I hope this info can be useful for those who doesn't know much of Bleeding Edge and its activity, for those who have the possibility to join these conventions (lucky you!) and for those who'd simply like to know more about it.

I think that Bleeding Edge Goths site is a very cool one. First of all, it's always updated and you can always find something new to read and look at. Then, there are many cool sections and if you are online, bored and don't know what to do... you have to possibilities: visit begoths.com and Blacklily's Relics (heehee!!!)
On begoths.com you can find this sections:

Products - here you can find all the BEgoths dolls, accessories, Rigormortis make up, Tub-Tastrophes, Princess Ai dolls and many other cool things! Once you have visited this section of the site, you can't resist to start your own collection! Have some great purchases!

Crypt Club - if you become a member you can buy the Crypt Club exclusives on begoths.com store, and you have several benefits (fresh information before the other collectors, pre-sell rights for some exclusives etc etc...)

I just woke up, and I found my dad preparing the decorations for the Christmas tree, and all the other stuff we use as home decor. Then I came to the pc and I saw the Bleeding Edge newsletter, with this awesome Goth Toon... this morning I really felt it's Christmas time!!!

Curiosities - 2

Series 1 Kindergoths were created all at once. However, the first protype that was completed was Zero.

Kindergoth Squidley was drawn and concepted by Steve Varner's son, Stefan, who inspired Dru's mold too: there was a scan taken of him and then it was sculpted.

Lunabella has been inspired by one of the Bleeding Edge assistants, the wonderful Veronica. Lunabella actually has her legs: she stood for about 40 minutes while a sculptor had her pose so he could get reference. No wonder why Lunabella is so awesome and attractive, hehe!
